Listed below, you'll find an ever expanding list of professional wrestling title holders and information about their individual reigns. We're starting by listing primarily performers who held belts during the Wrestlemania years from 1985 onward in major national wrestling organizations. In the future we'll likely expand the list to include smaller and/or non-U.S. promotions but for the time being you'll have to take what we give you.
At MNF, we've tried to organize our information in line with television air dates, meaning that title changes that took place at, say, a Smackdown taping are listed when that show aired as opposed to the date of the actual event. However, there are instances -- mainly in the '80s and very early '90s -- where title bouts were taped for shows like Superstars but not aired for, sometimes, over a month later. These changes retain their actual date so as to better reflect the length of time a performer held a particular belt. Do you hate our system? We're open to your opinions.
